    • TASTING NOTES

Our eleventh vintage of Solomon Lot 70 is phenomenally lush, supple-textured and loaded with ripe, black fruit and spice flavors.  In 2018, we were saddened by the death of our co-founder, Leslie Rudd, whose estate vineyards had been the source of Solomon Lot 70 since 2008. Taking a new direction, we culled Solomon Lot 70 from a Napa Valley, hillside Cabernet Sauvignon planting belonging to Francis Mahoney, who has supplied us with outstanding Pinot Noir since 2011. The new Mahoney vines have delivered quality comparable to what we found in the Rudd wine, but with a unique character driven by the new terroir.

Dark, black fruit is at the fore, couched in continued and long-lasting layers of excellence. This might be our greatest Solomon Lot 70 yet.

Vin 7000 is a boutique, independent Utah wine brokerage.

We specialize in small production handcrafted fine wines that are not widely distributed.

Because our winery partners only make small batches, most of our wines are "Special Order" (though more and more are making their way into the Utah state stores) and available for purchase through the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services(DABS) online ordering system

You simply order online and the wines will be delivered to the local liquor store you choose.

For more information on Utah’s DABS, please go to their website.
