TASTING NOTES
Our SØD is Saini Farms Chenin Blanc untouched and barrel-aged for 10 years. Inspired by a camping trip to the Jura region of France in 2008 we wanted to make a wine that was balanced with age, acidity, and just the right amount of sweetness.

SØD is a sweet wine reminiscent of the old-world Angelica, which is the historic wine created by the Franciscan Fathers in Los Angeles dating back to the 18th century. Our version of this extraordinary wine is barrel-aged Chenin Blanc juice undisturbed for 10 years. SØD is delicious sipped on its own or paired with flavorful cheese such as Comte' or Manchego. One of our favorite pairings is pumpkin pie or other custard-type desserts such as creme brulee.
